The machine was used to compress the suppository to form a solid into the specific mold in the machine. The apparatus was bolted to the prescription counter or on a board for additional support.

Canadian Laboratory on the proper right side. and the New York Office on the proper left. These colorful tins were used to advertise the drug manufacturers of the time."

The silver lamp has an oval like shape with a dual snake handle and an Egyptian bust on the top portion. Item belongs to the College of Nursing.
