161. Ku Klux Klan whip Ku Klux Klan whip with "KKK" burned into wooden handle. Whip is made of a heavy material belt. Purchased in Starke, Florida. 162. Whip Leather whip, open on one end with split pieces of leather. Origin unknown. 163. Blue Amberol cylinder Edison Blue Amberol recording of Fred Van Eps "Darkies Dream" and "Darkies Awakening." Patent information on top of cover reads "1910. John Young, Frederick J Wheeler." Etched into the top of the cylinder is "Thomas A. Edison Patd. 183; 1544 DARKIES DREAM & DARKIES AWAKENING VAN EPS." Bottom of cylinder is imprinted "Seeley Tube and Box Co. Newark, N.J. USA." 164. Powder horn Pirate's powder horn, used to store gunpowder. Engraved on the bottom of the horn is a flower design and the initials "T.Y." Origin unknown. 165. Slave-made chair A slave child's chair. The chair is made with mortise and tenon joints reinforced with square nails. The seat is of animal skin. Origin unknown. 166. Minstrel puppet A minstrel stick puppet. Minstrel shows were a type of entertainment popular from the 1840s to as late as the 1960s that featured performers in blackface. Figure has movable parts connected by pins. 167. "Free Bobby" pin Orange "Free Bobby" pin depicting Bobby Seale, co-founder of the Black Panther Party for Self Defense established in Oakland, California in 1966. 168. "Free Angela" pin Peach-colored "Free Angela" pin depicting Angela Davis, political activist associated with the Black Panther Party for Self Defense that was established in 1966 in Oakland, California. Pin also reads "Free all political prisoners." 169. "Free Huey" pin Yellow "Free Huey" pin depicting Huey P. Newton, co-founder of the Black Panther Party for Self Defense established in Oakland, California in 1966. 170. NAACP ticket stub Ticket stub for the NAACP's "Great Night" event, March 6, 1952. The event cost $3.00 and took place in Madison Square Garden, New York City. 171. Wooden blocks Two blocks of wood that are painted white on top and widest side. They are documented as having come from Harriet Beecher Stowe's house. 172. Good Times bubblegum Bubblegum depicting themes from the television show "Good Times" which aired on CBS from 1974 to 1979. 173. Harlem Globetrotters bubblegum Bubblegum depicting images of the Harlem Globetrotters, circa 1970s. 174. Dyn-o-mite J.J. Fun Pal doll J.J.
