Handwritten on reverse: 'Score board. Citadel ROTC at Fort Moultrie, Sullivan's Island, Charleston, SC. Coast Artillery practice. July 1927.' Image measures 4 3/4" X 3 3/4".
4" X 5" photograph of a special event. There is a crowd of spectators looking up towards the ramparts - they have their backs to the camera. One gentleman is wearing a military dress uniform (navy dress whites?) and is saluting. There is a formation of Citadel cadets at the top of the rampart, possibly a color guard. This may be an event during the Centennial celebrations of the Civil War as the Confederate flag is flying from the flagpole, just visible at top, center.
