Raised letters Caulk Alloy Mercury Base. The molded bottom is formed to fit on a screw top vessel. This mixer was used to combine various metal alloys used in tooth fillings.

The top drawer includes: a metal pocket scale with weights, glass bottles with cork stoppers, ceramic ointment canisters. The bottom drawer includes: glass mortar and pestle, three glass beakers, one of which is broken, and two glass medicine bottles with glass stoppers.

Waring MD President Medical Society of S.C. 1948 I. Ripon Wilson MD Retiring". Awarded to Dr. Joseph I. Waring (1897-1977) when he was president of the Medical Society of South Carolina in 1948."
0.5 x 1 x 0.75". Commemorative and association items. "Gold ring, School of Medicine, Medical College of the State of South Carolina from the class of 1915. This is the oldest known School of Medicine ring. Inside "T.H.M."(most likely for T.H. Martin) is engraved and on the front is the Medical University seal."

Cup given in memory of Francis Mathews Lander. 1903-1905. Names of recipients are engraved on it from 1901 to 1920."
