Nipple Shields
Nipple Shields 0.75 x 2.75 x 2.75" Breast feeding: Nipple shield. Two glass nipple shields with hollow centers. These glass shields were used to allow milk to be drawn out of the breast without contact by the nursing child. The shape of the shield allows for the nipple to be inserted into the shield and by pressing against the flat top would allow milk to be drawn out, additionally a small hole is located on the side of the shield where a tube would be inserted and the milk could continue to flow outward.

Mathieu's Retractors 0.75 x 4.5 x 0.5". Grasping and fixating:Retractors. Two stainless steel retractors with raised lines in the middle and three prongs one end and a raised flat edge on the other.

Plugger 0.75 x 5 x 0.5." Dentistry. Operative: Plugger"."Plugger with silver tip, gold band and mother of pearl handle. The instrument was used to pack filling material into a tooth cavity. Dr. Flagg was the first full-time American dentist. For years it had been thought that this tool had been made by Paul Revere for his student Dr. Josiah Flagg, but there is no evidence to support this claim made by the item's original donor.

Skin Buttons provided access to the body for tubes which led to and from the Thoracic Duct and made lymph dialysis possible." Ultimately they were used in lymphocyte depletion prior to transplant.
